Creating and maintaining a positive reputation of an organisation is challenging and ever changing with its unrelenting energy and power. A career involving unexpected changes, inevitable twists and turns appeals to Leeds born Damian Greenfield far more than a life of routine ever could. An early appreciation of Public Relations since he was eight years old, Damian’s calling has resulted in over a decade of experience in PR and strategic communications. Due to his passion and dedication to Communication, Damian is an exceptionally motivated and enthusiastic communications professional, supported by a Batchelor of Arts, majoring in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Lincoln. With a focus on high profile, multi-million pound national programme Communications, Damian has generated substantial experience spanning various sectors and organisations that has created a clear understanding of how to perform efficiently and effectively to tailored audiences in a strategic Communications context, both proactively and reactively. With a natural ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of current affairs, politics and government policy and how other communications disciplines such as marketing, media management, social and digital communications operate, Damian has consistently delivered successful communications campaigns that has resulted in multiple award wins from the likes of Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Coupled with a strong specialist knowledge and experience of working in a strategic communication capacity with the media and key stakeholders Damian is able to build and maintain positive relationships to the benefit of his colleagues, schemes and clients. Studying at Leeds Beckett University, Damian carefully balances his studies between full time employment at a national government agency and his role as a dedicated Husband and Father.
