Originally brought up in a small village on the outskirts of the Lake District in West Cumbria, I moved to Preston to pursue one of my passions and study a BA in Music Production at UCLan. My Bachelors, paired with my interest in communications opened up the opportunity to become an ambassador for a record label which included travelling to an event and blogging on behalf of the record label. Following my graduation I moved south to pursue work at a PR agency based in London, where I entered a role as an Account Executive in a media-planning team working with a mix of high profile property and events clients among others. Working for this agency confirmed my ambitions to enter into the world of PR and I have since taken the leap of faith back into further studies in this field at Leeds Beckett where I study an MA in Public Relations & Strategic Communication. Currently, I am presenting myself with a new challenge alongside my degree, exploring the world of education PR and Marketing by carrying out a work placement internship at a local independent school. I plan to pair my ‘can-do’ attitude, love of challenges and experience across many sectors with my finished Masters to build client relationships and eventually build my own consultancy. Through this, I will work towards contributing to the industries I am passionate about; such as Music, Motorsport and local causes.
