An enthusiastic, committed and ambitious twenty year old with a keen interest in travel, lifestyle and fitness. Long-term aims largely consist of becoming a renowned figure, within the PR and Journalism industry. During the short-term, adequate internships are a main focus in order to gain any additional experience, which will help to achieve this goal. Currently a BA (Hons) Public Relations with Journalism degree candidate at Leeds Beckett University, which has been awarded the 2nd best University, in England, for PR. Alongside such intensive studies, upholding a frequent online presence has remained a priority - particularly on Instagram - with collaborations including Dominos, NewLook, the fonecase company and YooMoo. An additional achievement has been the maintenance of the blog “an ultimate Uni guide”, which provides adequate advice for struggling University students. Becoming a frequent contributor of LeedsTalksPR proves to be another endeavour, which is currently underway. With regards to successfully working for others within the PR industry, the frequent assistance towards the creation and management of online content - for the indie shoe company “WA’ Sole”- has remained consistent since 2016. In order to further journalistic experience, regularly creating articles for the UK’s top student magazine “The Student Wire” remains another short-term professional aspiration. Previous experience includes writing content for “Safer Times” (County Durham and Cleveland Fire and Rescue's magazine) whilst working alongside the emergency service's PR team. Here it was required to create tweets, articles and share innovative ideas, whilst adhering to an abundance of strict restrictions. The role as an online promotor for Voodoo events - one of Newcastle's largest event companies - extended my understanding of the PR industry once more, as it was necessary to consistently create/ share content via social media.
