LeedsTalksPR was launched in 2017 to showcase Leeds Beckett University’s School of Public Relations and Journalism student work. Undergraduate and post-graduate students in the School’s Digital Communication modules write for the blog as a part of their module. However, our other students and alumni are also contributors to the blog’s content as well.
In addition, when we have news about our programme, sponsor events, or want to feature work from our academic staff, we will share that here as well. Finally, we would also invite alumni from our courses to contribute to the blog. We are working to develop the blog into a showcase of excellence in our students, staff, and alumni.
The blog is compiled and edited by Senior Lecturer Dr. Audra Diers-Lawson who teaches the Digital Communication modules at Leeds Beckett as well as the Issues and Crisis modules and one of the Corporate Social Responsibility graduate modules.
